Structured Uncle is a 12-week program for men who look like they've got it together — and privately don't feel like it. Money is where we start. It's not where we stop.
Losing weight helped me rebuild my confidence. Fixing my finances gave me back security, control, and options — and it's what made the rest of my life feel manageable.
That's why this program starts with money. Most guys already know they should spend less, clear their debt and build savings. The problem is turning that knowledge into a system they can follow consistently — especially when their current income still lets them get away with bad habits. It's usually the loudest problem, and it's the fastest one to build a real system around. But money isn't the whole program — it's the door in.
This is primarily built for single men in their 30s and 40s who enjoyed their 20s without building much of a financial foundation. You now earn decent money and live comfortably, but still haven't built real security underneath that lifestyle—and your overall health may have slipped along the way.
From the outside it looks like it's working — the clothes, the travel, the job, the gym, eating out, the weekly haircuts, the nice car. Privately, a lot of that's held together by paycheque-to-paycheque timing and no real buffer if something goes wrong. There's usually debt in the mix too — not spiralling, just sitting there on minimum payments for years, with no real plan to actually kill it, quietly taxing every paycheque that comes in. Add in constantly upgrading to the newest phone or gadget, a few Buy Now Pay Later plans running in the background, and already having a mental list of what you're going to spend your next pay cheque on before it even hits your account — and the cycle just resets every fortnight.
Work usually isn't helping either. The demands of a fast-paced, high-stress job have coincided with weight gain, neglected habits and a shorter temper than you used to have. Years spent chasing the next promotion, only for it to stop meaning anything once you actually got there. You're finally on a decent salary, but mixed with bad spending habits, it still feels like you're not actually going anywhere — just further into your 30s with nothing to show for it.
Fathers are welcome too — the program adjusts for less spare time, shared finances, and family expenses. It's just built with single guys as the primary case.
Five areas, worked in order of urgency — not all at once.
By the end of the 12 weeks, you should understand where your money is going, have a working system for bills, spending, debt and savings, and have established a small set of realistic standards across your health, habits and direction. The goal isn't to transform your entire life in 12 weeks — it's to leave with a structure you can continue without me.
We begin with one onboarding call to review your financial position and identify where your money's leaking. After that, there are no recurring live calls — every week you submit a check-in, and I personally record a video going through your answers, what's working, what's not, and what to adjust. It's built around consistency, not one big conversation a month. On top of that, you'll have WhatsApp access between check-ins for questions and support, with responses during the program's stated support hours.
You'll also get access to a tracker app I built specifically for this program — track your spending and habits day to day, submit your weekly check-in straight from it, and see a live dashboard showing exactly where you're at against your savings or debt goal.
I'm not a financial adviser, therapist, or fitness expert. I'm sharing what helped me and providing the structure and accountability I wish I'd had earlier. For anything outside that — real financial advice, a real diagnosis — see a qualified professional.
To be specific: if you're struggling to meet mortgage repayments, bills or essential living costs, this program isn't the right first step. Speak to your lender's hardship team or a free financial counsellor through the National Debt Helpline instead. This program is designed for men who can cover their essential expenses but keep burning through the income left over.
The same goes if gambling or substance addiction is behind your money or life problems — that needs real, qualified support, not a 12-week structure program. If that's you, please reach out to a professional who specialises in it before looking at anything here.
I'm running a free 12-week founding cohort for 5 people — same program, same weekly reviews — in exchange for honest feedback throughout the program and, if you're comfortable, a testimonial based on your genuine experience. Spots are limited and it's application-based.
